“Circles”īetween II Worlds leads off with “Circles,” a sumptuous, mainstream dance-pop single. Feeling like the first official chapter in a story whose ending is sure to eclipse its already impressive start, this album successfully proves that awfully impressive pop sounds exist beyond dubstep. If looking for an album showcasing depth and surprising breadth of musical skills, this is a must-listen. For what producers Daniel Stephens and Joe Ray can do in a studio, Alana Watson proves more than able to equal behind a microphone. Now over a decade into their career, Nero’s message on this album is clear: They’re more than a bass-powered dance act now, and they’re attempting to prove themselves capable of being chart-quaking pop stars.

The fourth and final single “ Into The Night” was released as a single in early January.After winning a Grammy for their remix collaboration with Skrillex on “ Promises,” vocal-driven dubstep trio Nero returns with their second artist album, Between II Worlds.

It was a top 30 hit in the UK, peaking at #27. Billboard put it on their “ The 10 Best Dance/Electronic Songs of 2015” list. The album’s third single, the future house “ Two Minds” was released in August, weeks before the album was released. The album was later delayed to September 11th, for unknown reasons. Three weeks later Nero announced their album would be released on August 28th, (coinciding with their concurrent use of “2808”) and the title track was made available alongside pre-orders of the album. In March 2015 they announced their album was finished, and released the second single “ The Thrill”. The album’s lead single “ Satisfy”, was later released in the May of 2014. They then declared that their new album would be released in the following year. The album was teased in 2013 after an ambient 28:08 minute loop was released to their sondcloud. It’s their first album with vocalist Alana Watson added as an official member (despite their debut featuring her vocals on many of the tracks she wasn’t an official member of the group).
